A praying woman

Her hips are made to bear kings and queens, a generation, a people.

She knows to let go of yesterday's pain for the leaders of tomorrow in

her arms depend on it.

She finds strength in the face of danger for she knows she is covered.

She puts on her armor with grace and poise and picks up her weapon with

class and dignity.

Her weapon is the word of God...the word, for she knows the LORD is mightier

than any battle she will ever face and

HE will never leave her nor forsake her.

She knows though the battle may not be over, victory is guaranteed.

So she SMILES....

Finding myself

By the windowpane, I see the valleys and your beauty

That is abound. Lord the scars of yesterday seem to

Vanish at the mention of your Holy name, Father because of

 the cross, my brokenness is made whole. I thank you, Jesus,

for your glory abounds.

  • Amen
